Company History

The Beginning

Sassy Designs, Ltd. was formed in 2002 by Terry A. Cutlip. Ms. Cutlip is an innovative entrepreneur and successful business woman. Sassy Designs, Ltd. is the product of her creative abilities and technical business savvy.

Terry has always had a passion for design and has been creating since childhood. The digital age opened a whole new world for her and when she first discovered the internet she was enthralled. She started designing web sites in 1997 and has been honing her skills ever since; always trying to outdo herself.

The idea of starting up and running her own design company came to her in early 2002. Stuck in a job that was anything but fulfilling and becoming more unhappy on a daily basis she knew something had to be done. With the support of her family and friends her lifetime dream of being her own boss became a reality.

The purchase of a domain name and the chance meeting of another entrepreneur at a fundraising event is where it all started. To get the company off the ground she stuck it out at the unfulfilling 9-5 job to pay the bills that the business was racking up. Terry knew that great customer service, good listening and communication skills, and always having a smile on your face - even if you're on the phone, were key to being successful in a business where you're selling yourself.

Our goals at Sassy Designs, Ltd. are still the same today - provide you, the client, with top-notch customer service and support, a smiling face and positive attitude, and offer you our undivided attention when discussing your project and goals. We are here to bring your dreams into reality and make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

The Next Step

Sassy Designs, Ltd. celebrated seven successful years in May 2009. We want to send a huge THANK YOU to our customers, friends, and family for making us a success. Your support, patronage, and friendship mean the world to us.

We have decided to move our business in a new direction. While we have enjoyed our web design projects and will continue to offer web design service and maintenance to our existing website customers we are moving the focus of our business to print and graphic design. While we have always offered these services they were not our main focus.

With the explosion of professional digital photography and the need for unique, custom design items we feel that we have a lot to offer the professional photographers out there so they can enhance their product offerings to their clients. We will also be focusing on smaller design projects like advertisements, business cards, and other professional marketing items.

We are looking forward to another seven successful years and we hope you will come along with us for the ride.

Where We Are Today

Sassy Designs, Ltd. became Sassy Designs Incorporated in August 2010. The first year of our new venture was a whirlwind! Sassy Designs, Inc. now boasts an online shop nearly 700 digital design items, over 7,000 registered customers, and an average of 2.5 million website hits per month! We're now all settled into our newest dedicated server that is built to perform under the pressue of the Crazy Sassy Sales and successfully handle the monthly traffic load without slowing down.

We have partnered with Simply Color Lab - a local professional print lab in Akron, OH - to offer custom digital designs to the photography industry. You can find Sassy Designs, Inc.'s custom die cut templates on the Simply Color Lab website and very soon you will be able to order exclusive Sassy Designs, Inc. card and album template designs directly from them!

We hope to meet many new customers and friends in 2011! Keep an eye out for us at Imaging USA and WPPI; Terry will be in the Simply Color Lab / Simply Canvas booth doing LIVE Photoshop demonstrations!
